Let’s get this party started – doggy edition

You’ve all probably heard various accounts of mischievous pets and what they really get up to when their owners are away. Dogs happily sleeping on the bed or digging in the trash, cats climbing the curtains or walking across the kitchen counters, it’s all pretty standard fare. However, there are some rather industrious pets out there who find far more inventive ways to pass their time when home all alone. For visual proof check out this video clip highlighting the ingenious escapades of one very determined dog:

Hopefully that wasn’t the good booze or fido is definitely going to be in the dog house!

Have a fantabulous week my lovelies!

  4. Doggie doesn't like being left alone at all. Crafty little bugger.

  5. I just commented about the Bill Cosby spoof on what dogs do when the owners are not home. I can't remember who's blog it was. Cosby said they invite the neighborhood dogs over to party and play cards and eat. That was way back in the day before he had his own show. Just tours and albums. God I'm getting old!

  7. OMG this made me laugh so hard that I'm sure my upstairs neighbor is cursing me out.

It was so random how the dog reached up and pulled the papers down, and then started rolling around a bottle of wine. Haha!

  8. another reason not to have a dog. My turtles prefer to use a glass when they are raiding the booze cupboard

  9. @CkretsGalore: Crafty indeed!

@Bouncin' Barb: Perhaps our wee pooch was just trying to live up to the legend.

@D4: A very destructive little bugger for sure!

@Katside: Kind of makes you wonder how/why the dog decided to go after the wine.

@Mynx: Your turtles are obviously far more evolved than the dog ; )

  10. This looks exactly like one of my friend's dogs. He came home from work one day and the bottle of whiskey had been broken into. It just goes to show- child-proofing isn't just for humans!

  15. This reminds me of the first time my friend left their dog alone in the house. Big mistake as it was 4th of july and the fireworks freaked her out. The dog made a mess of the entire house.
