WTF - Walmart Edition

There always seem to be plenty of tales and comments circulating about the incredibly bizarre fashions people wear whilst shopping at Walmart. I've even personally joked about someday wanting to dress up in my sexy police lady costume and pretend to arrest random people for shoplifting at Walmart. However, after seeing the lingerie, ill-fitting clothing, exposed butt cracks/cheeks, and other atrocious get-up's in the video below, I seriously doubt that purposely choosing to wear a Halloween costume to Walmart would even garner a second glance from their shoppers:

Perhaps Walmart might want to seriously consider instituting a dress code for shoppers. It is rather obvious that some of their patrons are completely clueless when it comes to determining what is appropriate (or NOT) for wearing whilst in public places.

Have a fantabulous week my lovelies!

  3. I am not shocked at all. I cringe every time I have to go in a Walmart because of the people inside.

  4. The peopleofwalmart website is a guilty pleasure of mine. Train wrecks galore. Just, as a word of advice, don't go there after eating a meal. It'll turn your stomach...

  5. @Oilfield Trash: Wow! I always thought people were joking about the crazy costumed creatures that shopped there.

  6. Thanks a lot for that. Because now I've seen it I can't UNSEE it so there goes sweet dreams tonight. Also, please do dress up as a cop and GO ARREST THOSE DELINQUENTS FOR CRIMES AGAINST FASHION.

Sorry, I didn't mean to yell.

  7. I'm so glad there are at least twice as many Targets as Walmarts around here so I can easily avoid that sad segment of humanity.

  8. I love that site. Someone turned me onto it a while ago. It's a great time-waster.

  9. My husband and I are officially traumatized. That was terrifying, seriously.

Side Note: I actually laughed aloud when I saw that picture of the cat at the beginning of this post. I don't know why. It just randomly struck me as being funny. Weird, right?

  10. @Lost.in.Idaho: You aren't kidding about that website. I noticed there was a tab for fast food creatures but I was afraid to look ; )

@The Vegetable Assassin: Funny you should say that. When I was writing this post I thought of you and considered whether or not I should have place a warning before the video.

@The Simple Dude: Shocking isn't it? It's sort of like viewing creatures at a strange fashion zoo.

@Joshua: Thanks for the website thumbs up. I'll definitely go give it a more thorough review.

@Candice: Sorry for traumatizing you and the hubby's eyeballs. The entire video is weird!

  14. @CWMartin: Too right!

    @laughingmom: You said it, I didn't ; )

@Alli: Seriously. The shot of the back boobage hoisted up in the bathing suit strings was rather shocking.

  15. Wow. Just...wow. I don't even have any words, which you know is rare for me.

  16. WE used to stage murders at Walmart. One (or more) of us would dress up in various stages of ass whooped and or bloodied and lay out in the middle of the aisle or under a clothing rack while our accomplice waiting with a camera at the ready. Small town. Nothing to do. Over dramatic teenagers.

    It was a blast.

Not that this has absolutely anything to do with your post, but hey - it's me. Whatever.

  17. Oh my do people not look in mirrors before leaving the house or do they just not have any self respect.

No no no Jo-Anne these people are delusional and think they actually look good, you should know this because some of them look like your in-laws who are all delusional and always look like something the cat dragged in............

Now I would not want to be caught dead wearing clothes like that but then I have self respect.

  18. @Mrs. Hyde: That is understandable. The images are rather eye searing and mind numbing!

@Micael "Rabbit" Chadwick: I love it. It must have been fun to scare the shoppers. Do you still have any of the photos from back then?

@Jo-Anne: So, I gather your in-laws are not the fashion conscious types? ; )

@Elliot Grace: You get the award for the most positive response to the fashion train wreck that was posted above.

  20. As long as "Willy the Pimp" gets a fashion pass, I'm all for a Walmart dress code. On the other hand, there would be that many fewer people to laugh at....

  21. As a former employee of Walmart I can tell you I have seen things that still give me nightmares. I agree with the dress code idea.

  22. *picks self up off floor*

I actually thought those back boobs WERE boobs. lmao And seriously, if you insist on wearing such a short "skirt", I beg of you, please at least wear some fucking underwear. Please, my eyes are bleeding from that.

    *must go find happy place*

  24. I hate Wal Mart, seriously. I have lived places where it WAS the only place to shop however. When I'm forced to go now, I generally keep my eye averted go directly to where I have to and leave as quickly as possible.

Maybe I should bring my camera and look around a bit, then torture those that visit my blog with them ... hmmm, probably not.

However, I'll rethink that decision if you'll put on the sexy cop outfit and harass people, yes I will.

  25. @Copyboy: Yes, and each video seems to actually be worse on the eyes than the last.

@On My Soapbox: We'd definitely have to give the pimp guy a pass.

@Mejis: Did Walmart give you extra 'war time' compensation for what you had to endure each time you went to work?

@J.Day: So with you girlfriend. I totally thought the back boobage was an actual rack. Lordy!

    @braumaman: For sure!!!

@Mustang Sally: Please take photos and post them on your blog! ...And yes, one of these days I will definitely do the cop thing. It's on my bucket list.

  28. I've been known to go there many o'late night just to people see. Its like a tiny ego feeding with a barbie sized spoon.

  29. @Mynx: The butt crack was definitely too much. Did you notice the guy bending down that had on a clearly visible blue g-string? Yikes!

@Danger Boy: Sorry. It was bad wasn't it?

@Meowlissa: Ha! I've heard tales that it really is like visiting a human zoo of zaniness.

  30. Why oh WHY is there in Walmart in the UK? If there were, l would be seated atop the roof with a my 'fashion police' rifle taking out every MF who dared turn up to shop in their slippers. Loving the rants.

  31. See the problem is that you can't enforce a dress code to the shopper when the employees dress just as bad. i learned while working for wal-mart that the employees dress worst then the shoppers we had a manager that i swear she tried to wear her 7yr olds clothes daily there were things hanging out and popping out that you did not want to see.
